Located on the Kanakpura-Ramanagaram highway, Konanadoddi is just 3 km from the town of Kanakpura. It is also the route to the Konanadaddi temple. While the temple is well-preserved, you may want to trek down to the temple itself.
Near Kananadaddi, Bananthimari Betti is the perfect place to see the sacred monkeys. Its two twin hillocks are surrounded by lush green valleys, beautiful meadows, and a haunting stream. The hike is about eight kilometers long and will take about four to five hours for a reasonably fit individual.
