Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer completed 3000 runs in the IPL during the match against Delhi Capitals at the Eden Gardens on Monday.

The Mumbai batter reached the milestone in his 110th innings, scoring at an average of 31.85 and strike rate of 126.11 with 20 half centuries to his name.

The 29-year-old has scored 5496 in his T20 career so far, including two centuries and 35 fifties at an average of 32.14 and strike rate of 130.60.

Shreyas put up a fifty-run stand with Venkatesh Iyer, after the fall of Phil Salt, to take KKR over the line against Delhi Capitals and secure second place in the IPL points table.
