After a solid start of Rs. 6.80 crores, the Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor led Mr. & Mrs. Mahi has managed a strong hold in collections on day two. According to early estimates, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi has collected in the range of Rs. 4.50 to 5.00 crores on second day, taking the total collections to Rs. 11.50 crores.
The drop could have been bigger as the film didn’t just overperform on the collections front but also footfalls. The opening weekend of Mr. & Mrs. Mahi will be around the Rs. 17 crore mark, and from hereon the target will be to double in the long run and hit Rs. 35 crores at the box office. The number would be respectable for the cost and win the film a successful tag, as the costs are under control.
Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is ready to join Srikanth as a success in the Summer 2024 period and both films feature Rajkummar Rao in lead roles.
