The Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao led Mr. & Mrs. Mahi has taken a strong start at the box office in India. The film has benefitted strongly from the cinema lovers day as the pricing at Rs. 99 has boosted the business by a significant number. According to early estimates, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi has collected in the range of Rs. 6.75 to 7.25 crores.
The film has done outstanding business in the national multiplex chains as most of the premium centres hit capacity and faced issues of more demand than the supply. Mr. & Mrs. Mahi has done the best business in Mumbai and Delhi, with the latter leading the show in a big way.
The heat wave in Delhi has certainly pushed the audience to visit cinema halls to consume cinema in air conditioner for just Rs. 99. The start is strong and the eyes are now on the weekend trend. There will be a drop in business on Saturday but if the fall is less than 40%, team Mahi will be on a safe wicket.
