Network detection and response vendor ExtraHop has appointed Rachna Kumar as the company’s senior channel sales manager for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

Based in Melbourne, Kumar will be responsible for managing ExtraHop’s channel and managed security service provider business, including sales and solutions strategies and market development.

She is also tasked with further developing all alliance, reseller, technology and partnership initiatives.

“ExtraHop has a robust global channel program built upon long-standing trust with partners and a revolutionary platform that can reveal cyber risks with incredible speed and fidelity compared to other solutions in the marketplace,” said Kumar.

“By expanding our presence in the ANZ region, ExtraHop is well positioned to continue its momentum while creating mutual benefits with our partner community. There is an incredible opportunity to capitalise on the great work of the team and bring the channel program to the next level.”

Kumar joins ExtraHop with more than 15 years of sales, channel development and account management experience in the IT industry.

She was previously channel account manager with Fortinet where she held frontline channel sales and partner development responsibilities across both public and commercial enterprises.

Prior, she worked at Trend Micro as commercial distribution manager for ANZ.

During her four years with the company, Kumar developed the company’s service offerings, managed sales pipelines and provided partner training support.

“We are committed to utilising our world-class channel program to help customers strengthen their business resilience and accelerate their cloud security transformation,” said Simon Howe, Area Vice President for Australia and New Zealand, ExtraHop.

“Bringing a 360-degree view of customer and partner insights from her previous roles, Rachna will enhance ExtraHop’s deep commitment to guiding companies through strategic cybersecurity transformation.”
