Brazil’s Vinicius Junior saw a yellow card on Tuesday during the match against Colombia at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, which means he will be miss the quarterfinals tie.

The speedy winger was booked during Brazil’s 4-1 thrashing of Paraguay, in which Vinicius had scored a brace.

With his yellow card against Colombia, he accumulated two cards, which according to the Copa America 2024 rules, results in a one-match suspension.

If Brazil makes it to the semifinals then the Real Madrid star will be available for selection to Dorival Junior.
