Optus Stadium and PEP Transport have joined forces, with the latter to be the official transport and logistics partner to the sporting stadium and VenuesLive.

Under the partnership, Optus Stadium will include PEP branding by transforming Gate E into the PEP Transport Gate.

PEP services include express parcel delivery, taxi trucks and a 24-7 courier service.

Chief executive Mike McKenna said Optus Stadium valued aligning business partnerships with Western Australian and national companies.

PEP chief executive Tony Florido said the partnership would allow the business to promote career opportunities and its service to the hundreds of thousands of yearly stadium patrons.

An Optus Stadium spokesperson said PEP was the first official partner for the transport and logistics services.

However, the spokesperson said the worth of the deal was commercial in confidence.

“The partnership will enhance our transport and logistics stadium operations,” the spokesperson said.

“We will give PEP Transport a strong platform to drive their community presence and showcase their dedication to providing exceptional transportation and logistics services.”

PEP marketing, sales and services general manager Tabita Trewin said the partnership was presented to PEP by Playbookx, a sponsorship and sports marketing agency that brokered the multi-year agreement.

PEP is a WA family-owned-and-operated business and was established in 1968.

This partnership follows the March 28 announcement that PEP was partnering with the West Coast Eagles and recognised as the official ball delivery partner.

The Fremantle Dockers official transport and logistics provider is Sullivan Logistics, with which they signed a three-season deal with in November 2021.

Playbookx has also partnered with Sullivan Logistics.
