Munjya Box Office: Sharvari and Abhay Verma starrer registers awesome collections on Monday, will score a half century in quick time

Munjya is a hit and would fast emerge as a superhit at the box office. If the first day surprised one and all, the clincher was the trend over the weekend when collections almost doubled on Saturday and then further increased on Sunday despite an exciting India vs Pakistan match. In fact, by that time the surprise factor had ceased, and amazement factor had come into picture.

However, what has happened on Monday is jaw dropping for sure, what with the collections turning out to be huge all over again and that too while it’s a working day. On Friday (plus Thursday paid previews), the film had collected Rs. 4.21 crores and now on Monday, the collections have emerged as Rs. 4.11 crores. That’s simply amazing as a trend like this is very-very rare even for the best of the films, even if they are mid-budget. However, Munjya is creating a world of its own and its reigning supreme there with no competition whatsoever.

There would be competition in week to come when Chandu Champion will arrive but still, Munjya will cross Rs. 50 crores mark in quick time. In fact, the manner in which it’s going, this will certainly happen by the close of second week and there is an outside chance that the film will accomplish this by the close of second weekend itself if it manages a huge jump again on Saturday and Sunday. With Rs. 24.15 crores in its kitty already, the film is all set to conclude its first week over and above the Rs. 35 crores mark.
